DOLLARS IN THE DUST

Notes: There are 5 nasty characters to shoot, this is done by 'Pressing 
the space bar' when the characters appear on the screen.

(In other words a perfectly reasonable text adventure spoilt by having to 
have very quick reflexes.)

3 of these characters Jake, Luke and Huenito are wandering about the town, 
each character has different status and the higher the status the harder 
to kill. Especially Mad Flint and Evil Sabata (the latter has a key which 
unlocks the chest full of money)

Rabid Jake has status of 21    reward 250$
Fast Luke has status   of 61    reward 500$
Wild Huenito has status 100   reward 1000$
Evil Sabata has status of 300  reward  5000$

Your status also increases as the game progresses.

Your money can be stolen by Casey, who wanders around. And which you are 
unable to kill. It may be best not to carry too much money.
Dangerous Dan the injun killer is also around, but he is the easiest 
character to kill.

You need to get money in order to purchase items in the shops and also the 
horse.
There are various ways to increase the money:
1 By gambling in the casino.
2 By gambling at the chicken fight.
2 Deposit a few dollars in the bank and then wander about the game, for 
each move made in the game you get 1 dollar deposited. You also gain a 
good rate of interest if you don't draw out any money. This can prove a 
long trek back and forth especially as the horse costs 300$ and the mask 
costs 279$
If you are a good shot then by shooting the baddies you will get reward 
money.

You can type SCORE which shows you your status and how much you have in 
the bank.

hear the bleeps of Morse code, the message says, 'To catch a dangerous 
angry nutter, be patient above the station)

E, E, N, N, SELL BOOK (you get 2$) S, S, E, S, S, In bank) Y (for 
business) 20, (to draw out money) 0 (nothing to deposit) N, N, W, W, N, 
BUY GUN, S, E, N, N, BUY AMMO, S, E, E, E, CLIMB STATION, (now on roof) 
WAIT, (till Dan strolls in) JUMP (you jump down onto Dan delivering a 
fatal blow) 

So once you have acquired enough money to BUY PRONTO, N, (the horse 
follows, you can MOUNT PRONTO and DISMOUNT you can't ride the horse into 
buildings. BUY LAMP, BUY SPADE, S, E, N, N, (in the desert) E, S, (by 
hotel) DISMOUNT PRONTO, S, E, GET MATCHES, (a ghostly figure of Dave 
appears, you now know who to find in the graveyard) W, N, N, E, N, GET 
DYNAMITE, S, E, S, (It's dark) LIGHT LAMP, S (in graveyard) SEARCH GRAVES 
(you find Dave's grave) DIG GRAVE, EXAM COFFIN, OPEN COFFIN, LIFT COFFIN, 
EXAM CHEST, OPEN CHEST (it's locked) DROP SPADE, N, W, MOUNT PRONTO, W, W, 
N (south of dark mine) DISMOUNT, N, E (see gold nuggets and hyaenas) LIGHT

As I have not finished by shooting the baddies, I presume this is the end…
