You are making a television show. You have 14 hours to save the Earth. You 
are told unless you get yourself to the rocket, fly into outer space, end 
each episode with a cliff hanger, and kill the evil baddie, earth doesn't 
stand a chance. The game is written in a manic, overdone style, with an 
outlandishness that only adolescents can display.

This game (available from World of Spectrum) is bugged. This is the 
solution to the amended version.

REDESCRIBE, EXAMINE DALE, INVENTORY (nothing), IN (the Spoon family are 
evicted), EXAMINE FLARES, TAKE FLARES (Gettov can't remember the command 
for the anti-gravity flares), WEAR FLARES, SAY FLARES (the anti-gravity 
command is Freaky), EXAMINE MALLET, TAKE MALLET (you can't, the shorts are 
too awful to EXAMINE at ), CLOSE EYES, TAKE MALLET, OPEN EYES, TAKE STRING, 
WEAR STRING, EXAMINE PANEL, PRESS BUTTON, WAIT (until Gettov says there is 
a storm ahead), WAIT (until you crash), OUT (a conservationist is annoyed), 
HIT CONSERVATIONIST, NW, N, EXAMINE RETARDIS, SW, S (you see Rodney), OPEN 
DOOR, DROP MALLET, IN, TAKE GRADE, TAKE BOX, OPEN BOX (grade 1 has aunt 
vanish), TAKE SONIC, OUT, TAKE MALLET, N, NE.

OPEN DOOR, REDESCRIBE (you see an occupant), EXAMINE OCCUPANT (seems 
familiar), TALK TO OCCUPANT, GIVE SONIC (you see millet), TAKE MILLET, N, 
N, N (you see two guards), SAY FREAKY (you find yourself in a dusty chamber 
with a closed door), OPEN DOOR (you see combat droids), JUMP THROUGH WINDOW 
(you land in the courtyard while guards trundle in), REDESCRIBE (you see 
red, blue, and black doors), READ SIGN (never open the blue door), DROP 
MALLET, E, EXAMINE STRAW (the bird takes the key and the creature runs 
off), REDESCRIBE, TAKE KEY, W, OPEN BLACK DOOR (you see a blonga bird), 
THROW MILLET, OPEN BLUE DOOR, N (you see a lift), ENTER LIFT (in the 
foyer), PUSH BUTTON, W, EXAMINE CONTROL (there are buttons marked up, down, 
door), PRESS DOWN, PRESS DOOR, E, E.

UNLOCK CELL (Heinz tells you Ming has captured Dale and shows you a card), 
TAKE CARD, W, S, UNLOCK CELL, N, W, PRESS UP, PRESS UP, PRESS DOOR, E (at 
the lab), INSERT CARD, E (Jerkov reads the note about the Dale taken to the 
ice world), EXAMINE DEVICE (a wire leading into the plug), PULL PLUG, N 
(the salesman asks if you want to buy a machine; you end up buying the 
Reliant), EXAMINE RELIANT, IN, E (you see a key), TURN KEY, W, W, EXAMINE 
PANEL, PUSH BUTTON, WAIT until you see four fighters), PUSH LEVER (you 
destroy the planes), E,, WAIT (until you fly over the moon of Frigidia), 
WAIT (until you land), OUT, (you see robots heading toward you), SAY FREAKY 
(you see Dale held hostage by Ming), SHOUT. Dale and Ming are buried; Dale 
dies but Ming plots the sequel. You are finished.
