Part 2 is far more difficult than Part 1, as there are several locations where you are unavoidably "stuck" unless you have objects found later in the game. In both parts of the game, you sometimes see the spells before you have the objects you need to cast the spells. If you CAST the spell, that tells you what object you need, but there is no logical association between the object and the spell. Some spells do not require objects to be cast, and some can be cast more than once if they do not destroy the object. I do not think you can play this game not using a trial-and-error approach and experiencing "dead ends", so save frequently, so you can restore to a previous location and position. The "knirhs" spell is tricky – reverse it. When you meet the slime monster, you have three choices here since you cannot leave. You can KILL MONSTER by repeating the command until it's dead, at which time you have 4 energy points left.
