HINTS SHEET

1. Climb the plane to see a feint trail south then burn the hedge to expose
the trail. Ensure you wet the plane before setting fire to the hedge.
Before you can move along the trail however you must first construct a
makeshift compass using the string and magnet.

2. You will need the oxygen to climb the Upas tree and must have climbed the
tree before you can cut the hedge using the parang.

3. Use the mirror to pass the Basilisk.

4. Make a lasso using the string to get the shovel, then use the shovel to
get some boiling mud. Throw the mud where the soft ground is and it will
harden in the sun to form a path to the top of the hill.

5. Pull the lever to reveal a rusty ladder extending down the dark pit.
Light the lamp with the matches. Get the oil in the empty can.

6. Insert the farthing in the slot and the glass rolls back exposing a huge
piece of spearmint rock. Eat it!

7. Jump the chasm.

8. To pass the fearsome ghost, burn the oil.

9. Insert the stone in the depression in the wall and it will roll aside.

10. To bridge the chasm cut the timber with the axe, then use the planks.

11. Make a boat using the nails, planks and hammer, then make oars.

12. Unlock the padlock on the grating with the keys then pull the bolt using
the hammer. Keep rowing east until you reach a sandbank, then get out of
the boat. Break the boat and get the planks, as you need them once more.

13. Make a ladder and go to the end of the ledge, where the ladder will span
the gap allowing you to pass.

14. Give the mouse to the Golden Griffin.

15. Frighten the Silver Phoenix - Say Boo!
