Walkthrough for Stalker by Andy Woods Written by Richard Bos To start with, this is a PAWed game for the ZX Spectrum. Therefore, words are significant to five letters rather than the more usual Quill's four. Unfortunately it also suffers from a common disease among PAW games, to wit, an overdose of rooms with nothing to do in them, and too many useless objects. Also, the setting is one of those stereotypical half sci-fi, half primitive jungle things that were once both so common and so lamented, and the plot is rather linear. Still, I've seen worse games. Much worse. Obviously, since this is a walkthrough, spoilers are rife below. I'm not taking you past every single clue and sight, but I do provide some commands which give some hints while not being strictly necessary to get to the end. Get all. Examine the computer. First press 3. There are two planet codes in that information, one for Earth and one for Cramos. Remember that last one - you will need it at the very end of the game! Next press 4 and press 1, then leave the pod. Go south, sw and se, take the branch, and go back nw, ne and north, then east twice and ne. Now without wasting any moves go sw twice, s, e and se, and jump. Jump again, then go sw, se and sw and take the material. Wrap the material around the branch, open the barrel, and dip the branch in it. Drop the barrel. Go ne, nw twice, ne, w, n, take the shard, ne, take the flint, and ne again. Hit the rock on the boulder. Look. Take the device and drop the branch and flint. Go sw, west twice, nw and north. Cut a hole, and go north. Go west, sw and se, take the fruit, then nw, south, west and nw. Free the alien and give her the fruit. Go se twice and west. Dig, look, drop the device and take the disc. Go east, sw and west. Examine the gun and push the switch; go west again and kill the bear. Skin the bear and take the bearskin. Go east twice, mend the boat, take the oars and enter the boat. Go north, ne, nw and ne. Hit the creature with the oars, then drop them. Take the small book. Go sw, west and sw. Read the small book - you have to use the adjective as well. Type the code for "rescue necessary". Drop the book and wait for rescue. Go ne and west twice, and enter the Tube. We can't follow that figure quite yet - first go down four times, ne and down. Examine the carcasses, open the jaw, look, and take the ruby. Go back up, sw, up four times, and now go north twice. Insert the ruby. Go north twice, west and sw. Examine the clothes and take the money. Go back ne, east, and south four times, then east, south, east twice, up, sw, west thrice and south. Buy a beer, take it and give it to Foreun Bey. Do this again. Now go all the way back north, east thrice, ne, down, west twice, north, west, north four times, west, sw and se. Pull the lever. Do so again. Look. Take and wear the goggles. Go nw and ne, and swim. Look. Take the Kard. Yes, you must spell that with a K. Go east, then south four times, enter the tube, and west twice. Insert the Kard into the machine. Go south. Take and wear the spacesuit. North twice. Examine the bunks, then take all. South. Read the paper; type that number. Hit the controller with the bat, then drop it. Turn the oxygen off. Type the number on the paper, this time backwards. Go north, ne and north. Examine Captain Aldraan and take everything. Finally, type in the code I told you to remember at the very start of the game...
