Excalibur: Sword of Kings - Solution - ZX Spectrum & Adventuron Versions A very short beginner-level adventure game. There are small differences between the Adventuron version and the original. A minor change to the ladder drop to make it clear that objects were created in the inventory. The logs in the forest in the Spectrum version require picking up and examining to net the axe, which was changed in the Adventuron version. I'm guessing this was an implementation bug in the original. The Spectrum version also seems to have a bug that Excalibur itself is not required to reflect the end spell (even though it says it is used in the text). You can complete the game without ever holding Excalibur.
