The game itself isn't too bad, though there are a few illogical puzzles, but I think it goes beyond spoofing soap operas, and into the realm of random violence and laughter when this occurs. Or maybe I have become too sensitized to violence since this game was written 25 years ago. However, I have never considered this type of humour funny. The game is in three parts. As there is a limited number of objects you can carry, and you are not sure which you may need again, it may require going from Part 1 to Part 2, back to part 1, then Part 3, then back to part 1 again. This solution is written without the need to do that. Hints: The torch is only needed to move around at night and in the dark. Probably it's best to switch it off during the day. TALK to people. The potion is needed twice. Certain location can only be reached by IN/ENTER/GO and OUT/LEAVE. If there are two places evident, then also add which one you wish to go to. There are a few unimportant characters who can be ignored. When you are told you found something, type LOOK. To use the phone, use TYPE. Save your game. While I appeared to have done this before, when verifying and proofing the solution, I had great difficulty in determining whether I was to load part 1, 2, or 3 or in which order.
