To Hell in a Hamper

As the balloon Titania flies low over an erupting volcano in the Andes mountains, weight must be
shed to raise it high enough to pass.

All that is left is to divest your rather portly companion, Mr Hubert Booby of his souvenirs that he
has collected along the journey.

We can start by EXAMINE BOOBY to see that he has a large overcoat and a felt hat; EXAMINE OVERCOAT
and EXAMINE SIDE POCKET. Now GET MALLET and GET BOX from the side pocket. OPEN BOX and GET SCISSORS,
GET NEEDLE, GET YARN from it. Now we've emptied the box we can THROW BOX to gain some
altitude.

Now EXAMINE BREAST POCKET and GET HANDKERCHIEF to get a whole load of silk handkerchiefs. CUT
BUTTONS (with the scissors) to open the coat and lots of objects will come tumbling out. GET
BOOMERANG and THROW BOOMERANG AT HAT, the boomerang will fly off and return soon, so GET TWIGS
whilst we wait. The boomerang should have returned, knocking off Mr Booby's hat and revealing a
clock. GET CLOCK and THROW CLOCK, then GET HAT and THROW HAT to get rid of it. We can now deal with
some more of the items hidden in the overcoat: GET DONKEY and THROW DONKEY. GET PAINTING and THROW
PAINTING. Finally GET TRUMPET.

Now EXAMINE OVERCOAT to see that there is an inside pocket, EXAMINE INSIDE POCKET and GET LIGHTER,
GET HATCHET from it. We should EXAMINE LINING at this point but there is a bug in code and it will
crash out, so instead CUT LINING and GET VASE that appears from there. SMASH VASE WITH MALLET to
reveal a key, so GET KEY and we can now THROW MALLET to remove it.

Now we can deal with the other objects: EXAMINE CARPETBAG to reveal a padlock, fortunately we
already have a key, so UNLOCK CARPETBAG. Get the objects from the bag: GET UNDERPANTS and THROW
UNDERPANTS; GET TROMBONE; GET MUMMY. Now we can GET CARPETBAG and THROW CARPETBAG. THROW MUMMY, and
we're told that it's cursed. Fortuantely the twigs are magical, so LIGHT TWIGS (with
cigarette lighter). This gets rid of the Blue Ibis, but now we have a lit stick in a flamable
ballon, so THROW STICK to get rid of it.

Now we can deal with the dog, first we need to wake it, but it's a bit deaf so PUT TRUMPET IN
DOG'S EAR, then PLAY TROMBONE. The trombone seems a bit blocked up, so HIT HUBERT WITH TROMBONE
to knock a cricket ball out of it. GET CRICKET BALL and we can now PLAY TROMBONE which wakes up the
dog. Finally THROW CRICKET BALL and the dog will chase it out of the balloon.

We can now THROW TROMBONE, and horror of horrors - it is revealed that Hubert's aunt is also in
the over coat. To get rid of here, MAKE PARACHUTE (from the handkerchiefs, needle and yarn), TIE
PARACHUTE TO GERTIE and PUSH GERTIE. She'll try and climb back up the anchor rope, so CUT
ANCHOR ROPE WITH HATCHET.

Hubert will jump out after his aunt leaving us with too much lift and the balloon going out of
control, so there's only one option left to us: PULL GAS VALVE ROPE and we have finished the
game. Now read the outro and enjoy.
