THE TIME LORD'S AMULET

Notes
1. When you RUB AMULET you are transported randomly to one of six locations.
2. At the various locations:
(A) Lists items needed from other sections to complete that section.
(B) Shows how to complete that section.
(C) Shows a quick return if you've completed that section or don't have the appropriate
items necessary.
3. When you are transported through time sometimes it is necessary to OPEN EYES to see where you
are.

Walk Through
(Start on the bank of a river), GET ROD (fishing - as you lift it you find a broken amulet hooked on
the end), DROP ROD, GET AMULET (needs cleaning first), CLEAN AMULET (you are transported through
time).

DESOLATE AREA
A) Jar of peanuts, book and rope.

B) N, GET CLUB (if you haven't already - keep this with you at all times as it is needed to
deal with the prehistoric beast every time you are transported to this location), W, S, S, E, N
(clump of trees - a strange fruit is here but don't bother with it as if you feed the monkey
with it he is useless and if you feed the beast with it he sleeps and you cannot return), S, S, READ
BOOK (tells you how to capture a monkey), TIE ROPE (to the jar), TIE JAR (to the tree with rope),
CAPTURE MONKEY (you see the monkey with it's paw caught in the jar), GET MONKEY (you see a
monkey on a rope), GET MONKEY, E, E (the beast is here), ATTACK BEAST (must be carrying the club -
it picks you up and throws you through the air... you are east of a small cave), N (dead end), MOVE
ROCK (if you are told you can't just keep trying until you find a valuable stone), GET STONE,
S, W (cave entrance), GET AMULET (part - if you haven't already), RUB AMULET (you are
transported through time.

C) N, GET CLUB (if you haven't already), W, S, S, E, E, ATTACK BEAST (must be carrying club),
W, GET AMULET (if you haven't already), RUB AMULET.

BY HILL
A) Key.

B) E (grassy bank), U (hill top - leave the shield), W, W, S (wooded area), W, S, E, EXAMINE SWORD
(it must have an owner - don't get it though as if you do a Norman invader enters and kills
you), W, D (note you can't go west here even though the program says there is an exit that
way), N (small hillock), OPEN CHEST (locked), UNLOCK CHEST (with the key), DROP KEY, GET AMULET
(part), RUB AMULET (you are transported through time).

C) W, N, W, RUB AMULET.

FARMHOUSE
A) Nil.

B) GET GARLIC, EXAMINE GARLIC, GET BOOK, READ BOOK (all about monkeys), N, W, GET ROPE, S, W (across
the bridge), S (west side of house), GET JAR, EXAMINE JAR (contains nuts), S (shaded area), EXAMINE
FRENCHMAN, KISS FRENCHMAN, FEED GARLIC (nice day but we cannot wait around - if you don't do
this he attacks you in a couple of moves), S (leave the spade), E (orchard), N, N (east side of
house), GET KEY, GET LADDER, S, S, S (east of barn), ENTER BARN, MOVE STRAW, GET AMULET (part - if
you haven't already), RUB AMULET (you are transported through time).

C) N, W, S, W, S, S, S, E, S, ENTER BARN, MOVE STRAW, GET AMULET (part - if you haven't
already), RUB AMULET.

LARGE WHITE DOME
A) Monkey.

B) RUB AMULET (you are transported a short way to a large square room - leave the sandwich), S (a
narrow passageway - a working robot is here), EXAMINE ROBOT, TURN OFF (robot - you automatically go
south - note don't do this until you have the monkey with you as you can only pass the robot
once), E (passage - leave the hammer), S, S (dead end - a shelf is high above you), RELEASE MONKEY
(it climbs up to the shelf and pushes something off), GET ROPE, GET GLASS (key), N, N, W, W (glass
door), UNLOCK DOOR (you go through to a narrow passage), S, E, N (a small dome), DROP GLASS (key),
GET AMULET (part), RUB AMULET (you are transported through time).

C) RUB AMULET, RUB AMULET.

LARGE FLAT PLAIN
A) Club and ladder.

B) S, E (a large hollow), ATTACK CENTIPEDE (you make it very angry), ATTACK CENTIPEDE (it throws you
high in the air and you land on a high wall), CLIMB LADDER, JUMP DOWN (base of wall), CLIMB LADDER,
JUMP DOWN (base of wall), N (maze), W, E, GET LIFESTONE, W (base of wall), USE LADDER (you climb
back over the wall), S (barren plain), E, E, E, S, S, S (hollow), GET AMULET (part - if you
haven't already), RUB AMULET (you are transported through time).

C) N, N, E, E, E, S, S, S, GET AMULET (part - if you haven't already), RUB AMULET.

GREEN MEADOW (First Time)
A) Rope

B) E (a small clearing), GET STAFF (if you haven't already - don't drop this), EXAMINE
STAFF (at the water's edge use me), W (a paved area), EXAMINE HUMANOIDS, ATTACK HUMANOIDS (you
finish up in a sealed room), SORRY (you are given a second chance), N (peaceful wooded area), PAT
CREATURE (you make a friend and are given a gift), GET SEAL (of eternal friendship), S, W (next to
lake), THROW ROPE (it lands in a boat hidden in the undergrowth), ENTER BOAT (middle of a lake), N,
W (landing), U (narrow pathway - you arrive at the top of a slope), ENTER TOWER, U (large chamber
where you see a large white book), READ BOOK (it tells of various valuable treasurers and their
locations... the floor gives way and you fall down a long tube... you find yourself back at the
small landing), E, DROP ROPE, STRIKE STAFF (you are transported through time).

C) E, GET STAFF (if you haven't already - don't drop this), W, W, STRIKE STAFF (you are
transported through time).

GREEN MEADOW - Second Time
A) Ladder, broken amulet, six pieces of amulet, the lifestone, the seal and the valuable stone.

B) B) S, S (bank of river), USE LADDER (to cross the river to the base of a large flight of steps),
U, ENTER DOME, ENTER DOOR (a white room).

CONGRATULATIONS
You have achieved the ultimate goal.
You have received a gift from the future, the Lifestone and the Valuable Rock.
The Amulet is also complete and allows you to travel to any point in time or space.
You are now a Time Lord in your own right.
