the gorge to a flat rocky area), N (edge of a large ravine where there is a dangerous rope bridge),
CROSS BRIDGE (you are so worried about the sign that you turn back), EXAMINE BRIDGE (needs repair),
LOOK (now see a cable hanging down), EXAMINE CABLE (it is swinging in the breeze), CROSS BRIDGE
(this time you make it across to soggy ground).

EXAMINE RAT, E (the rat is following you), FEED RAT (it eats the sandwich and disappears), N (into
mud), POLE VAULT (using the branch to cliff), GET TIN (of petrol), EXAMINE TIN, E (steep slope), D
(thicket), S, W, D, W (beach), CLIMB LOG, W, N, W, U (cockpit of helicopter), INSERT KEY (it is out
of fuel), D, FILL TANK (with the petrol), U (back to cockpit), GET KEY, INSERT KEY (you find out
that the helicopter is really a red herring), D, E, S, E, N, SWING VINE, N, CROSS BRIDGE, N (into
mud), POLE VAULT (to cliff), EXAMINE TREE, TIE WIRE (to what?), TO TREE, ABSEIL (you hang onto the
wire, step over the edge and lower yourself down... suddenly the granny knot you tied gives way and
you plummet to a balcony below of a hotel closed for the season).
