DEADLY DUNGEON

Notes:
1. When fighting you can use either the sword or arrows - it doesn't make a lot of difference,
just make sure you have sufficient arrows.  Most times you will win but should you die you have no
option but to restart
2. If you inadvertently find yourself in the hall of mirrors, you need to be carrying the paper in
order to go north.                                                                                  
                         

Walk Through
LEVEL 1 - (Start inside the deadly temple), READ SIGN (leave treasures here and say score), EXIT
TEMPLE (you will be randomly placed in one of the following locations): 
                                                                              
1. Armoury with a killer tiger, FIGHT TIGER, W (to very old corridor). 
2. Steam room with a killer cockroach, FIGHT COCKROACH, W, N (to very old corridor). 
3. Display room with a giant lizard, FIGHT LIZARD, N, N (to very old corridor). 
4. Passage of the Dead with a zombie, FIGHT ZOMBIE, W (into hall of mirrors), GET PAPER, READ PAPER,
N (note you must be carrying the paper), DROP PAPER, 
N (to very old corridor).                                                  
5. Old Cathedral, PLAY ORGAN (to enter the dark pit room), N, N, N (to very old corridor).
                                                                                                    
                                
(From very old corridor), OPEN DOOR (you see something), GET funny BOX, OPEN BOX, LOOK (you see a
diamond), DROP BOX, GET DIAMOND, W (into old rock mine), OPEN DOOR (you see and old mine shaft,
which if you ENTER SHAFT will take you to the sorcerer's magic room), E (into Victorian sitting
room), EXAMINE TABLE (you see a box with writing on it), READ WRITING (it says "do not
open" - note should you be tempted to open it something will give off a deadly gas and you will
die), DROP BOX, N (into graveyard), MOVE TOMBSTONE (you enter the sorcerer's magic room),
EXAMINE TABLE (you see some old pots and other strange items... and a box which you take), OPEN BOX
(you see a diamond ring), GET RING, EXAMINE POTS, LOOK (you see a coal pick), GET PICK, S (into dark
pit room), ENTER PIT (note you must be carrying the pick... you enter the council room), EXAMINE
TABLE (you see the deeds to the castle and a priceless painting), GET DEED, GET PAINTING, READ SIGN
(it says to take your treasures and "ENTER TEMPLE" then "EXIT TEMPLE" and you
will be in level 2), ENTER TEMPLE, DROP DIAMOND, DROP RING, DROP PAINTING (keep the deed for now),
SCORE (150/500).                                                                                    
              

LEVEL 2 - EXIT TEMPLE.  You will be randomly placed in one of the following locations:   

1. Small laboratory containing a wolf, FIGHT WOLF, W (to a small dark tunnel, S (to senate
chambers).                                                       
2. Small cave with a giant grasshopper, FIGHT GRASSHOPPER, W (to cave by an underground river),
ENTER BOAT, S, S (to senate chambers).                                         
3. Gladiators Training Arena with an evil dwarf, FIGHT DWARF, W (to senate chambers).               
                                                                                                    
                    

(From senate chambers), EXAMINE DESK, LOOK (you see a law book), EXAMINE BOOK (it's a note and
it says "Don't forget the deed"), W, W (into forest), READ SIGN ("keep
out"), S (to mountain), W (into field of poppies - note don't hang around here too long),
GET ROPE, N (note you must be carrying the deed... you enter the castle), GET LAMP, READ WRITING (it
says to take your treasure and "ENTER TEMPLE" then "EXIT TEMPLE" and you will be
in level 3), ENTER TEMPLE, DROP DEED, SCORE (200/500).                                              
                                                                                   

LEVEL 3 - EXIT TEMPLE.  You will be randomly placed in one of the following locations:  
                                                                              
1. Ancient Torture Chambers containing a vampire bat, FIGHT BAT, W (to small work room)
2. Hall of no Return containing a troll, FIGHT TROLL, E (note you must be carrying the pick - to
small work room).                                                                                   
                            

(From the small work room), GET HOLDER (for silver candlestick), W, S (to large stone room), EXAMINE
CAVERN (try reading it), READ WRITING (it's in a strange language - you think it says "hit
me"), HIT WALL (using the pick... you now see and passage and go through to a deep pit), THROW
ROPE (it catches and you climb out to the king's treasure room), GET CROWN, READ SIGN (it says
to take your treasure and "ENTER TEMPLE"), ENTER TEMPLE, DROP LAMP, DROP CROWN, DROP
HOLDER, SCORE.........                                                                              
                 

You have 500/500 points.
