north ledge), N (to square chamber - a shovel is here but there is no use for it), S, LAUNCH RAFT,

river), NE (a waterfall is northeast and if you continue you will finish up over the edge and the

the boulder free which falls into the narrow northwest channel sealing it... the river rises and
your raft is carried through the shaft above... you find yourself in a large square chamber).

N, NE, N (into a curving passage), E (to west end of a wide cave containing a ferocious bear), SHOOT
BEAR (must have oiled and loaded the gun first), E, E (to ledge at top of canyon).
