(Start outside door), INVENTORY (you have a brass lantern and a scroll), EXAMINE DOOR (no visible
means of opening), EXAMINE SCROLL (contains a spell of opening), READ SCROLL (door opens), N (the
door slams shut behind you and your lamp goes out), N (tunnel), N (fork), NW (side tunnel where you
kick something), EXAMINE FLOOR (you pick something up), EXAMINE OBJECT (a flute), PLAY FLUTE (hear
music), PLAY FLUTE (again the music responds), LISTEN MUSIC (like a whispered question), SE, N, NE
(junction), E (crawl where a current of air brushes your face), EXAMINE AIR (coming from the east),
E (into squeeze where the air current is stronger), EXAMINE AIR (you find a crack in the wall),
EXAMINE CRACK, GET PAPER, EXAMINE PAPER (too dark to read it).
W, W (junction), S (tunnel), EXAMINE SAND, DIG (you uncover a manhole), EXAMINE MANHOLE (closed),
PULL HANDLE, D, SE, S, S (cave), PLAY FLUTE, LISTEN MUSIC, PLAY FLUTE, LISTEN MUSIC, PLAY FLUTE,
LISTEN MUSIC, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT (you see a spark of light), EXAMINE SPARK, TOUCH SPARK (you feel a
tingling and note that the spark is caught inside a crystal), GET SPARK (it bursts into a blinding
white light and you now see that you are in a marble room containing a pedestal), EXAMINE CRYSTAL,
EXAMINE PEDESTAL, READ PAPER (note the magic word), N (Heliax the owner of the crystal stops you
from leaving with it), EXAMINE HELIAX, BREAK CRYSTAL (you hear the music, Aayela is liberated and
the queen recovers).
For alternative endings give the crystal to Heliax or say QUELTUYA while you are holding the crystal
and Heliax is present.
