The Guild
This is quite an easy game, short, with a few dead ends and
several unnecessary objects.
You begin in the village of Katwelge.
INVENTORY (nothing), EXAMINE CHILD, TALK CHILD. She tells you the
villagers have turned to stone. She wants you to find the Talisman
and gives you a gold piece. EXAMINE GOLD, N, N, EXAMINE GNOME,
TALK GNOME (he wants money), GIVE GOLD. He says to go east, and
never go west in the tribal village. Go E, N, E, EXAMINE WOODPILE,
MOVE WOODPILE (you get a rope), NW, W, N, N, TAKE JUG, EXAMINE JUG
(it has a hole for a handle), S, E, EXAMINE SIGN, READ MAP. It
tells you how to get through the misty zone, from the track north
of the tribal village: n, n, w, n, w). Go N, N, W, W, TAKE SPADE,
N, W, N, EXAMINE MAN (he has a paper in his hand), TALK MAN (he
wants water), E, E, E, EXAMINE POOL, TIE ROPE TO JUG, LOWER JUG,
W, W, W, GIVE JUG. He gives you the note. READ NOTE (anukyi -
462153. The translation is Kinayu).
Go E, E, N, E, E, EXAMINE STATUE, EXAMINE FOOT, RUB FOOT (you get
pearl), EXAMINE PEARL (extra strength), N, EXAM LOG (too heavy),
MOVE LOG, DOWN, EXAMINE WALLS (you see a lever), PULL LEVER, W,
TAKE BONE, EXAMINE BONE, E, UP, S, W, W, N, N (you see a ghost),
EXAMINE GHOST, TALK GHOST. She tells you the magic potions in the
palace will be of help to you. Go SE, DIG SOIL (you get an
amulet), EXAMINE AMULET, DROP SPADE, E, NE, N (ignore the bowl),
NW, SAY KINAYU (ignore the man), N, EXAMINE MAN, TALK MAN (he
wants something), GIVE AMULET, N, E, GIVE BONE, TAKE VAPOUR,
EXAMINE VAPOUR (it melts a large party of foes), W, EXAMINE
MIRROR, MOVE MIRROR, W, EXAMINE SHELF (you get a freeze potion),
EXAMINE FREEZE (it works on a large party of enemies).
Go E, N, DROP NOTE, N, EXAMINE BEGGAR, W, N, N, NW, N, NE, EXAMINE
CART (you get a key), SW, S, SE, N, N, SW, N, NW, E, EXAMINE
WORKERS, CAST FREEZE, N, UP, E, S, EXAMINE BIRCH, EXAMINE BARK,
BREAK BARK, READ MESSAGE (urdor), N, E, E (door is locked), UNLOCK
DOOR, E, E, READ NOTICE (Zorcon - 1st floor), UP (you see guards),
CAST VAPOUR, UP, SAY URDOR. You get the Talisman, and are sent
back to the village shielded. You are finished.
