You must explore a once-thriving mining town in search of the 13 hidden treasures. With everything from rattlesnakes to runaway horses, it sure ain't going to be easy! Includes a special bonus scoring system too!
Probably one of the highest ratios of difficulty vs game size, Claymorgue excepted. Adams tried new things here, but the parser was too limited for the ideas to fully work. Though some of the puzzles are flippant or plainly unfair, I cannot but admire the inventiveness: clever wordplay clues, lateral use of the environment (the safe puzzle), a balanced playful undertone, and a bonus system for those that really want to crank up the challenge. I remember the game took me some time to solve, but getting the bonuses required mad sequencing skillz and a bit of cheating. A classic.
