Synopsis

Plot

A blight has fallen on your homelands, the Baton has become tarnished and now radiates a malevolent aura of evil. Your mission is clear - trace the source of this evil and destroy .. or be destroyed.
This is the first part of an epic adventure although each part can be played as a stand alone scenario.

Notes

The original TRS-80 version, and slightly later IBM PC port, was published by Molimerx.

An initial cut-down, 8K version for Vic 20 was published in 1982 by Leisuronics (Leisuresoft).

To obtain graphics on a Dragon requires the computer to be in Dragon 64 mode, otherwise the game is text only.

Has some design inconsistencies compared to other games in the series: SEARCH <location> makes some new objects appear even if SEARCH just says there is nothing there, the world is segmented to hamper back-tracking, and repeating a command several times may be needed with no prior hint of that. Very few puzzles.

I played the Plus4 version and I like the graphics. Good adventure.
