Synopsis
Plot
You are an adventurer on the remote island of Xaro. You only guide is a letter received from Dr. Chumley where it is said that he believed that the islanders had hidden a massive treasure somewhere on the island. Unfortunately Dr. Chumley did not live long enough to find the island's lost secret. Your quest is to find the treasure and escape alive.Notes

Pete Cooke's first foray into text adventures. Very coarse, BASIC only and limited by it, but I have seen (and done) worse for first attempts.
I have very fond memories of playing this in the early 80s. This was the first game I managed to solve without any hints. Quite a bit of trial and error involved in dealing with NPCs, but still very absorbing.
