Unlike the other Specsoft titles, this one is competently finished, relatively speaking. It's nothing to call home about, but at least it raises the house bar, even if it's sluggish BASIC with custom parsing. Funny gaffes include calling the protagonist "Scarisbrick" instead of "Ajax" a couple of times, which is the player's character in "Village of Death". Despite this calling itself the second of the Specsoft adventures, details like that make me wonder if it wasn't actually done after the other two.
