So the amnesia angle is a way-overused plot device, and the game doesn't have much in the way of puzzles. But the writing is of such high quality that I'm happy to ignore any such weaknesses. Rarely has loneliness and isolation been portrayed better than here.
I completely agree. I remember playing this on my colleague's Mac. Goodness knows how he got it or why - he wasn't the type to play adventures - but it had me hooked. Very atmospheric.
