The article accompanying the game listing mentions that the program was adapted from Randy Hawkins' earlier Star Trek Adventure with some tweaks to the game logic. The game itself does not credit Hawkins despite being largely an identical adventure.

A port to the TRS-80 Model 100 was published by the Club 100 Library.

There is an MSX version available; history unknown.

In 2017, the game was ported to the TRS-80 MC-10 by Jim Gerrie. Jim discusses the game here.
