The humble Taxman is not a popular bloke. Let's face it he is about as popular as beef in a vege-burger. However in this text adventure you get to guide the Taxman in his quest to obtain the taxes from the six inhabitants of the sunny hamlet (nothing to do with little pigs) of Tripe on the Wold.
Originally programmed in PAW for the Spectrum. Steve Clay wrote the initial version of the game in 1991. It was published by Zenobi in 1992.
The later WoW Softare Amstrad releases came in two versions, a GACed game available on tape and a PAWed version of the game available on disk for CP/M.
Steve Clay created (& sold) an enhanced Amiga version of The Taxman Cometh, produced using AMOS. It included graphical versions (solvable using a joystick) of some of the original Spectrum puzzles.
