Synopsis

Inspired by the cult movie The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, this game actually works as a sequel of sorts. As Buckaroo Banzai, an amazing neurosurgeon-cum-rock star-cum-test pilot, you have to repair a rocket car (which takes Banzai into the 8th dimension in the movie) and defuse a nuclear device primed to explode.

According to Scott Adams, he wasn't very heavily involved in the game's creation.

"Buckaroo Banzai was supposed to be a cult smash from the start and a start of a long series. [a sequel, BB Against the World Crime League, was announced in the movie's credits -Ed]

"They planned to have actual clubs across the country and merchandise etc.

"They did cross licensing in anticipation of that." (Scott Adams, February 2012)
