Having defeated the practitioners of the dark arts, you are again charged with saving Laranth. The demon Scethamil has stolen the five gems which ensure peace amongst the states. You must enter the demon's keep and retrieve the gems. The king has turned to you, the knight who defeated the dark sorcerers.
You are given two items, a sword of elven metal and a magical orb which will instantly teleport you out of the keep, for it is impossible to physically travel to or from the keep because of the fiery sea surrounding it. The king's sorcerers will teleport you to the keep.
Only use the orb once you have found all five gems, or you will not be able to return to the keep and all will be lost.
The five gems are the amethyst, the diamond, the ruby, the jade and the pearl.
The last and most technically advanced of my five Apple II adventures. The game program was split into several files because it couldn't all fit in 64kb at once.
I finally stopped redrawing the screen after every move in this one - the influence of Scott Adams lasted that long. The game has a title screen and some music, too.
