Synopsis

Plot

You play the part of a repossessor. Your objective is to repossess 13 unusual treasures from Lord Hog Jowl's mansion and return them to the location indicated in the game. Finding this location is one of the biggest challenges.

This is a light-hearted variation on the traditional treasure hunt where the treasures are things like a ceremonial bed pan, a plastic flamingo and Foghorn Leghorn jelly glasses.

Notes

This adventure was originally published in 80-U.S. Journal, vol. 5, no. 1, January 1982, pp. 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76–78.

The main listing is for the TRS-80 Model 1 and Model 3. Extra listings are given for the changes to make to run on a TRS-80 Model 2 and TRS-80 Color Computer. In all cases, the computers require 32k of RAM, but it will run in 16k if the BASIC source code is heavily compressed by deleting all unnecessary spaces.

The CoCo version was later included on CLOAD public domain adventures disk 2.

In 2022, the game was ported to BBC Micro; see here.
