You have arrived at the entrance to the temple and sent all your assistants in to search for the ikon, but none have returned. You will now have to venture in by yourself.
This was published by Argus Specialist Publications as a BASIC type-in listing in Personal Computing Today, vol. 3, no. 6, January 1985, pp. 53–55. The article was titled 'Golden Ikon of Ramesis', but the game itself is titled 'Golden Ikon of Ramisis'. It may also have been published in Games Computing February 1985, but this has not been confirmed.
There is a plagiarised version on some web sites supposedly written by Gary Mottabhoy, but he is not the author.
It has unofficially been ported to the VIC-20 by an unknown author.

The game does NOT appear in "Games Computing" July 1984. That magazine is online at flaxcottage.com
I've deleted that particular reference. Perhaps one day the mythical February 1985 issue will turn up.
Lookin for Vic20 adventure game, I found the port of this game. It was published in Personal Computing Today, issues Vol 3 No 6 (Jan 1985), Pages 53-55 and Vol 3 No 8 (Mar 1985), Page 7.
Port was made by Steve Lucas. See http://www.vic20listings.freeolamail.com/mag_pctoday.html
No, that's the original Amstrad version as detailed in our entry.
The excellent Vic-20 Listings site, that you reference, often ports listings from other BASICs to the Vic-20.
(Our entry already includes the link to the Vic-20 version).
The March 1985 Personal Computing Today reference is useful as it mentions some corrections for the original Amstrad version... https://archive.org/details/personalcomputingtoday198503/page/n5/mode/2up
