Synopsis

Plot

The war was HIS fault, of course. And you would've won it quickly and easily if you hadn't tried so hard to keep your wife, the white queen, alive. Your counterpart, stupid though he is, knew this and kept forcing small advantages here and there, knowing you'd cede them so your wife and his wouldn't be killed. He didn't care about his own wife, of course. You can't blame him.

Notes

This game came 9th in ParserComp 2022. It is basically a text adventure interpretation of a "well-known" chess endgame. The game understands a few standard parser commands like GO NORTH but you will mainly need special commands which are explained to you if you type VERBS.
