Synopsis

Notes

Originally a ZX Spectrum Quilled game, released by 8th Day.

CRL re-released an enhanced version of Quann Tulla in 1987 under the name Federation. The re-released version was also available for C64 and CPC, and was produced by Smart Egg, using their modified version of The Quill. Harvey Lodder ported the game code to this system. It seems likely that the CRL version is the one that Ross Harris remembers creating graphics for, as he is credited in this role on some sites.

A Recreation Re-Creation advertisement lists an Amstrad version of (the original) Federation as being available.

There was a planned sequel to the game, called Skywych.

Possibly the best of 8th Day's "Games Without Frontiers". The abandoned space station theme has been done to death, and even though this is no Stationfall, it has a reasonable sense of atmosphere, plenty of puzzles, and good pacing. Worth a try.
