I remember playing this on my Apple IIe a looong time ago. The part that stands out the most to me is using a pogo stick to jump up an elevator shaft...

Thanks for mentioning it was available for the Apple II as well. After a little search I found it on Soft Disk Magazine number 60 from December 1986. I've uploaded some screenshots from the Apple II version.
