The graphics in the game were produced by Justin Segal.
As @A2Can shared on Twitter: "Roughly 2000 copies of the game were sold through magazine ads, direct sales to a few retail stores, and several small distributors including one in Japan, making it a modest success. Jorge and Andrew were also able to make small licensing deals with The Games Network and A+ Disk Magazine, which required some reprogramming of the game to divide it into thirds for serialization."
Details of the A+ version can be seen here where it's explained that the game comes in four instalments. Parts 1, 2, and 3 can be played independently but part 4 requires you to have completed the previous sections.
The author later ported the game to PC; it's unclear if this version was published.
A sequel was planned, and work on the graphics started, but the game was never completed.
