Synopsis

Plot

In this adventure about the mysterious happenings of the supernatural, you play the part of Jack Slaine and must continue the story being read by David Hamlyn and delve deep into the strange world of the occult and the paranormal.

A reworking of the earlier game Nythyhel.

It was published by Zenobi Software initially and then later sold on Tony Collins' own The Guild label.

An improved and expanded Methyhel - The Special Edition Spectrum 128K edition was produced in 1991. It combined both parts of the Spectrum 48K game, removing the graphics and unused locations, but improving gameplay and adding more puzzles. It was initially available for free, due to a dispute between Tony and Zenobi, before he bought back the rights to Methyhel and sold the game himself.
