Anyone running this great Infocom game. I have the adventure running on Commodore 128 with the WinVice Emulator.
My question is how do I find the location codes in Communication Mode. I understand there was a Security access wheel to get the codes for PPCC, RCRO, PEOF, PCAF, MACO and WNNF location ...

Road to Valhala text adventure running on NewBrain

I finally converted the Sinclair Spectrum version of the "Road to Valhala" to NewBrain Basic which now runs on the NewBrain Emulator in Tape Mode great. A very interesting text adventure.

Archimedes Battery ...

Thanks for the advice on the Archimedes battery, have removed it and replaced. Not too much of a mess from the battery. I had similar leaky battery problems with an Atari ST Mega. Think the batteries were only used for the screen clock but I could be wrong. Regards

Can programs written with Quill/AdventureWriter be converted to a Basic listing. Is there a program Utility to do this on the PC. Maybe a big ask. What language was Quill written in was it C ?

RUFAL Text Adventure (1982) is now available for the PC ...

The RUFAL text adventure was published by Andrew Pepper and WATKISS Computers in 1982 for the NewBrain Computer.
Then in Nov 2015 Andrew Pepper transferred his RUFAL program to Visual Basic for the PC. For a copy of the PC version download from http://www.newbrainemu.eu The RUFAL program download ...

Correction to line 660, I missed a ; between PRINT"YOU GOT THE " and O$(S) in the NewBrain listing. Should read as follows:
