Re: Genre Suggestions
I have added "Pirates" as a genre, as there seem to be quite a few pirate-themed games. If anyone feels this is a downright terrible idea, or if they think this genre can be expanded in any meaningful way, so that it might encompass more games, please feel free to suggest this.

Good point. It's a keeper! And yes, it's a lousy joke.

What games should we include?
The subject has popped up on a number of occasions, and I'm not one to kill a good debate :)
Our core game type is the "pure" text adventure (with or without accompanying graphics a la Magnetic Scrolls), and I don't see that changing, so the purists needn't worry ;)
But with our game count now well ...

Re: X-Men
Right. But then, there's planning, and there's...planning. On one hand, 12 games were supposedly planned, and on the other there's the linked text that mention that a handful of characters are "likely to star". Incidentally the mentioned characters are the only ones ever to materialize, and I can't ...

Re: M25!
Looking at the description, the screenshot and the solution, I'd say "Adventure" is by far the best genre classification you can give to this piece of software (under the premise of calling it a game). The player is presented with a location description and a command prompt. Inputs are passed to ...

I can see that several of us have been updating our entry for X-Men
Excellent - it's always interesting to learn more.
Does anyone know how much merit there was to the claim that a whopping 12 games were planned? It seemed quite ambitious. Were any additional titles announced?

Hi Mark,
I have sent you a PM
I'll give the game a go later this week, as the selection of Android titles isn't exactly overwhelming.
Cheers,
Jacob

Re: The classic Sierra On-Line Adventures
There are some entries on the site for games that are not strictly type in adventures, I'm sure Jacob has a logical explanation as to why these games have entries...
