Re: Duplicate Entries

I've deleted both the game and the author - as well as a reference to the Atari version.

We've debated these unofficial conversions in the admin team, and my p.o.v. remains that they don't belong here. My personal wish is that CASA should be a database of which games have been released for which ...

I already have them all downloaded. If you feel like doing some conversion, I'm sure we can work something out :)

Re: Textfiles.com Apple II Walkthroughs

There are absolutely heaps of solutions on Dorothy's site. I have her permission to use them - I just haven't had the time to handle them yet. They're all in rtf format, which we're trying to avoid, so the files will have to be converted to text (or, if need be, pdf) first.

Re: Textfiles.com Apple II Walkthroughs

Haha - well, my solutions have ended up on all sorts of sites without my knowledge, so I guess we can just return the favour ;)

No, really.... the solution for TSS was already on CASA - it was part of the entry you submitted for deletion, so I transferred the solution to the correct entry.

But as ...

Re: Is there a mirror of the old site?

I have it on my computer. I'll fix these missing files a.s.a.p., though I can't guarantee that other solutions aren't missing.

Re: Leadlight - a brand new horror adventure for the Apple I

@Blurgle - yes, Passengers has always been a pain in the butt. Dare I say it - very French, ie. great visuals and somewhat incomprehensible gameplay ;)

@Sam et.al: Re. how the subforums are divided. I think the current description is fairly workable and understandable in most cases - all the 8-bit ...

Hi Wade,
welcome to the forum!
I wouldn't know where to post this if I were you, either :) But it looks really interesting - congratulations with getting it released.

Re: Smartphones

Thanks for the input. I have indeed been reading various reviews around the net, but the majority are overly focused on features which I have little interest in (camera and such). And I simply lost track of the overwhelming number of models.

I have been leaning towards Android myself, so thanks for ...

Smartphones

Well, this is the off-topic section, right? ;)
As I appear to be surrounded by tech-savvy people, I would like to ask for some input regarding getting a smartphone. My wife broke her mobile, so in a rare spur of unselfishness I thought she could get mine and I might start looking for a new toy ...

Re: Are you kickstarting Andrew Plotkin?

Personally I boycott anything Apple; I may have been persuaded to support him if he bought it out for Windows/Linux first.
Yeah, it's funny how Apple went from being everybody's favourite underdog to being prominently placed on a lot of people's hate lists. For the record, I'm right with you. I've ...

Terrific - Meretzky always seems well spoken, so it should make for a good read.

Wouldn't mind having him join the forum, either :D
