A collaborative review of some sort. Either with people writing a section each and then somebody (me?) linking them together, or perhaps a back-and-forth style review, with two or more people giving their input to the various aspects of the product.

Re: Get Lamp
I don't know how many of you ordered it already, but I am planning on reviewing it once it reaches my mailbox. I was wondering if anyone else would like to join me in writing the review? It looks like a fairly comprehensive package, so there should be plenty of material to cover.

Re: New site - bug reports
Not a bug per se - but if anyone's wondering why their submissions aren't being processed, it's due to the fact that I moved four days ago and my life has been reduced to a heap of boxes. I'll try to catch up with everything within a few days.

Thanks for the reminder. Ohhhh, Beatle Quest.... what an... oddity
I mean, fond as I am of The Fab Four, this game just seemed odd for the sake of it.

Re: Fixed games
Why not simply include the game file with the instructions? That way, no new file type will be needed. People can then apply the bug fix themselves.

Re: News image bug on front page
"Culprit"?? Pah! Is that the best you can do? I'm aiming for "Destructor of websites", no less :D
Really, I thought that using the full image path was the thing to do. I stand corrected. At least, judging from the thread, the error wasn't entirely trivial. So I managed to wreak some havoc all the ...

Re: Processed submission still shows up in my queued submiss
My mistake - submissions are deleted manually, and I was just considering whether to use your (rather interesting) comments for something before the submission was deleted.

Hi Philip, and welcome to the forum :)
I hope that some of the forum users will feel like giving your tool a spin. It sounds interesting, especially for those who feel that Inform is too much of a mouthful.
Could you briefly outline the major differences compared to CAT, and maybe also indicate ...

Re: Forbidden Quest 1983
Hi Jamie,
maybe I'm just a bit confused here, but as far as I know the ST wasn't launched until 1985. Was the game released for another platform in 1983? Do you have a link to a site where we can find it?

Re: Lovecraftian Games on the IF Archive
I have played quite a bit of the Call of Cthulhu RPG in my younger days, but apart from some unsatisfactory encounters with Hound of Shadows, I've never really explored the computer game side of Lovecraft. Thanks for making this thread - I think I'll take another look at Anchorhead and SotC.

Re: Platform distinction
For some people, it might be confusing that there are several Atari or Commodore platforms. If we were to streamline that info, the more advanced users would be frustrated.
