Thank you Terri. I've just played it through fixing up a few mistakes and on the final run it seems to work perfectly for me.

I'll send it to Jacob

Well, seeing as the weather here has been rather evil, I thought I'd try and complete the walkthrough, and I think I've done it :) I'm not sure on the etiquette of where to post it on here, so if someone wishes to advise I'd appreciate it. Plus if you want to run through it and check it's ok that ...

Am back again :D

I don't suppose someone could tell me how to get the car started, or at least exit the garage once I'm in there :D

You know, I'm not sure how one could work this out with no manual or command list! Yes, I'm cheating a tad and have looked at the unquilled document from scoop ...

Yes, tis I! :D Well a bit of googling led me to a little utility call unquill. I saved the .tzx file as a .sna and then used unquill to export the game and I've got a list of data from it. It certainly shows commands that need to be entered and the conditions on how they will respond. I've not had a ...

I'll try the wordpad thing, thanks.

I've got a brief map of some of the locations, am just working on the dreaded wood at the moment, one of those lovely maze type areas.

Well, I'm progressing a small amount at a time :) I think I'm going to try and write a little walkthrough of this game, if only so I can remember what I've done to achieve certain tasks.

Terri & Doreen,
Thank you very much. Direct input always appreciated :) it seems "bang head against wall" doesn't elicit a favorable response either :D

Once again thank you.

Being somewhat extra cheeky, I don't suppose there are any applications out there that would read the .tzx file and somehow ...

I now have a razor, soap and toothbrush and I've cleaned my teeth, but I am unable to have a shave or wash, any clues as to what to do? If I say "use soap to wash" it responds with "you'll have to be more specific". I have made the kids laugh and the wife faint with shock at my nakedness, so I'm ...

Thank you very much indeed! "Leave room" worked! Now I feel very silly not thinking to try that.

Scoop - Speccy game - Helplessly stuck

Hello all,
A long time ago I remember playing this game (at least it had the same name and probably the same plot) on a 480z at school, ah those heady days. Anyway I've found it for the Speccy (search on world of spectrum for scoop and you'll find it) but I'm a tad stuck on the first screen, I know ...
