I guess it's because the title in the database is ...

Re: Adventure Challenge
Shogun YEEESSSSS! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Congratulations, you win!
The first picture from the rebus was The Muppet Show . The second picture was a gun. So the rebus was "Show" + "gun" -> "Shogun". A rather forgettable text adventure, even if it was published by Infocom and authored by Dave ...

Re: Adventure Challenge
It's not Animal Land Murder Case. (But it was a good idea! It would have fitted Clue 1 very nicely.)Alastair wrote:After the original clue I thought it might be Animal Land Murder Case, now I'm stumped.

Re: Adventure Challenge
(A bit of pointless trivia about muppets and text adventures, with nothing to do with the challenge: I read in a blog post that the mainframe version of Stuga had muppets in it.)

Re: Adventure Challenge
And there is another huge muppet fan completely baffled over here :D.
Is it Funfear ? No, it's not Funfear.
And yes, I know my clue was rather obscure :) . Here's another one:
Game #3
Clue 2
The Clue 1 is actually a little rebus: each picture should suggest one (and only one) word, and if you ...

Re: To our French visitors
Don't worry about me: I'm safe. Actually, I'm francophone but I live in Switzerland (I'm half French, half Swiss), very far from Paris.
But thank you for your message! If there are any other French people on the forum, I certainly hope they're safe, too.

Re: Searching Adventure from the 80's (C64)
I don't think Eureka! came on five or six discs, but if the game was officially translated into German and French the site will need to be updated. There was definitely an official French translation: see, for instance, the World of Spectrum page , which has the Spectrum French version and even the ...

For recent years at least (I can't find them for older years), there are blurbs at the official IF Comp website. Here are the links; for some of these pages, you need to click on the "Show all" button to see the blurbs.
