Magnetic Scrolls Original Games Source Code Recovered

I'm a few months late in reporting this but it is about Magnetic Scrolls and I cannot see it mentioned elsewhere in the forums...

Strand Games has a blog post describing the lengths they went to to recover the source code of Magnetic Scrolls games from what is believed to be the only surviving ...

Re: I Dare You for the C64

Re: Solaris, Sinclair Spectrum text adventure - Softel 1983

Working on the assumption that when run the game will unscramble itself in memory I took one of the Z80 snapshot images and opened it in WordPad. Guessing that 'INV' for inventory would be in there a search revealed the following text string ...

Re: Any Sherlock Holmes BASIC Adventures?

All the Latif pages are 404. Has there been a massive sweeping of old software for the C64 from the Net?

Re: Magazine articles - tips for P.A.W.?

Towards the bottom of the World of Spectrum entry for P.A.W. it states that Sinclair User published a few articles on playing and writing adventure games, are these the articles you are looking for?

Unfortunately the links at WoS are dead, but after a quick search I found an online site that ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10

If you are willing to use a another emulator for a different computer then you could use the Dragon versions released by Microdeal (though this excludes Castle Dracula since they never released that game for the Dragon).

Do you want a Jim Gerrie port to the MC-10, a cassette image, or just a listing of the program? I can help with the last two but not the first.
