Re: M25!
Should joke adventures, such as M25!, have their own genre, e.g. "Joke", so that anyone who does not want to play a (usually lame) joke game know which games to avoid?

Re: The classic Sierra On-Line Adventures
Alebo, if an RPG contains puzzle elements that would not be out of place in a text adventure then the RPG can be considered suitable for this site especially if the solution requires you to type in the commands. If the RPG is point'n'click only and it appears on this site then it must be due to ...

Re: Modern Point'n'Click Titles
CASA is not really the place for point'n'click adventures, whether you define them as modern or not is immaterial, the site is mainly concerned with adventures where you need to type in commands to perform at least some actions.
I'm aware that some point'n'click games appear on the site. Think of ...

Re: I just have a quick question?
The Dragon Archive lists some rarities in the Dragon (thirty years old this month!) world. The entries that are of interest to adventurers are already mentioned at CASA, being The White Cliffs of Dover and Juxtaposition II - Usurper of Rune.

Re: Help Identify this story
Could it be Valkyrie 17? I'm guessing from the phone call that the genre is Spy/secret agent, this search gives sixteen possible C64 games of that genre (of course there is likely to be many more, it's just that many games have yet to be tagged), do any of those titles ring a bell?

Re: New site name?
To create more space I put 'CASA' on the roof and removed most of the side of the house, so now there is a large empty space waiting to be filled.

Duplicate Prisoner Entries?
Judging from the solutions, the following three Prisoner adventures appear to be the same game.

Re: New site name?
@Alastair: sorry, I didn't realise you had made it this far :D The house looks good! Colours are spot on. I think Hannes' previous suggestion:
a house, visually cut open to reveal a winding path/twisty little passages inside and probably a guy following such a passage holding a lantern?

Re: New site name?
Jacob, since you haven't asked about logo progress I thought that I would post my most recent effort
I'll probably remove the right hand wall and replace it with a hill with paths leading up it and some other typical adventure related objects may appear.

Re: New site name?
That's not a problem as it is quite easy to change the picture's palette, as shown below. One question I have is how large (width and height, in pixels) should the logo be?Gunness wrote:That might be a way of doing it. I have to say up front that I like the current colour sceme.

Re. logo idea.
If we can't draw it why don't we stitch a few images together to create a logo? For starters, I'm thinking of taking this screenshot from Ooze - Creepy Nites , cropping out the text, and using the dark side of the house as the cutaway. If we can find a suitable screenshot that ...
