Yup, already gave the poor old fella the wine - found the body clutching the bottle of perfume - but, I'm at a loss as to what to do next. I haven't been able to do anything with the body or the perfume, and nothing is playing on the television after I discovered the body...

So, have ya'll made any ...

In order to find the safe, you have to save the butler. Take him outside the castle, find the corpse....
Hmmm, he ran off as soon as I cut him loose...

Jacob - thanks for sending the fixed file and BeebEm - it works much better than the emu I was using.

'll send the files to you, but as far as I can tell, the "buggy" version of the game only omits a couple of messages, including the one with the tree.
Have you had a chance to send the files to me? I may have missed them amidst all the spam I get...

Thanks!

Geoff has brought it to my attention that there are problems with the version of the game found on Stairway to Hell. If anyone else wants to join in, let me know and I'll send you the necessary files

I think I'm in need of these files since I can't "look in tree" etc. Using the information here I ...

Rats! I can't seem to figure out what to do at the anthill, the fountain (I've already thrown my coin into it), or the chessboard (where I've tried "approaching" the queen)...

Thanks! I doubt I would have thought of that one. Any advice on dealing with the anthill?

So this is considered a modern game then?

Usurper: Mines of Qyntarr

This old DOS game is apparently one of the last text-only games commercially released, and sounds like it would be fun. Sadly, I can't get more than a few moves into it because I can't light the lantern (even though the lamp is full of oil and I have a lighter). Has anyone played this game, or want ...

I think I have a map to this game in an old Adventure game solution book. Would you like me to try to scan it and send it to you?

Oh no, did you say the "M" word? I hate mazes...

As usual, I'm plodding along well behind the rest of you. I've only just now unlocked the door. I have been mapping as I go, so assuming I can successfully navigate the maze, I'll be happy to submit the map.

Hmmm, let's see: shoveling snow -vs ...

Who's submitting the solution? I'll send the map.
