Thank you.

Yes I noticed that when I wanted to use unpaw to look for the missing points (with our solution you only get 75 points)

Cell of the Ridges zx spectrum

This week I started to play another adventure by Graham Burtenshaw, the author of Leotrope, called Cell of the ridges. I did not get very far.

Until now I found the following objects inside my cell:
-length of rope
-glass box
-bit of string
-small stone
-piece of fungus
-thing like a hammer
-small ...

Re: Starcrash - ZX Spectrum

Leotrope Part 2... is actually out there, together with a full solution by the author... It was included on issue 5 of Grahame's SAM Coupe magazine Enceladus. It can be played on a SAM using a Spectrum emulator... Technically, I guess, the snapshot could be extracted a dumped back onto a Spectrum ...

Re: Starcrash - ZX Spectrum

Unfortunately this is not uncommon. Several years ago we played a spectrum game called Leotrope here on the forum and as far as I know there stil hasn t been found a copy containing the second part.

Well it would be nice an emulator could speed up the loading a bit, but then again when I had my first MSX computer it was normal it would take up to 15 mintues for a 64k game to load :)

Garry wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:20 pm Are you saying there's a tape image?
Yes, not on 8bitfiles, but I got it from someone who made it from his original copy.

Re: Skullduggery

Ok times goes fast I noticed :) I didn't realize it has been over a year since we were playing this game. Well I was organizing my computer and stumbled on my map. I've forgotten about most puzzles and I don't think I will start playing it again, but here you have my map so you can use it to finish ...

Re: The Orion Quest c64

Well done for sorting out that problematic entry, I'm sure that'll help some of the people that have obviously got frustrated with the game in the recent past (such as the guy who made the YouTube video).

Yes I also saw his video :) . Well on to the next adventure.

What is the filename of ...

Map has been updated and I've uploaded a walkthrough.
Exemptus wrote: Tue Jun 02, 2020 10:41 pm the D64 file hosted on 8bitfiles seems to be in good condition - at least, it shows the recorder, and it is possible to take it.
Yes, if the recorder can be seen in the first location it is a good working version.

I received an answer. The version found on gamebase64 and most other websites is faulty. He sent me a copy of his own version. I solved the game. I'll update the map and upload a walkthrough.

Re: The Orion Quest c64

There are some unclear parts like the use of og(x,y) array.

og (x,y) is og(verb, object) the value of this is the RPY so if a combination of a verb and object have a value the program will jump to action rpy. Problem is I can't jump to action rpy because I can't see the line numbers, but now I ...

Do you think the message which you get when you examine your belt "IT IS ATTACHED TO YOUR MAIN MEMORY BANK" implicates you are playing a robot?

Re: The Orion Quest c64

I guess the spade might be a key item, for uncovering some of the others, so the fact that you can't ENTER the building in the clearing is really going to prevent any progress.

I don't think that to be very likely. If you look at the code the only place mentioned where you can dig is the scree ...
