Oops sorry I misunderstood. I thought you were hinting at some other game :), but alas you are wrong again (although you are very close)

Re: Adventure Challenge

So are we allowed another guess now or do we wait for the next hint?
Yes , go ahead. The idea is you don't guess more than one game in one post (like some other person who should be ashamed recently did :) ) , because it would be very easy to post 6865 names in one post (the whole database ...

Re: Adventure Challenge

Nice you joined the challenge! However both of you are wrong. Some parts are close, but they are not the game I'm thinking about.

@Jacob, your cheating as usual :) . The rules state only one guess at a time and the game has to be in the database. I think Infocom mist a huge opportunity in not ...

Adventure Challenge

Hi everyone. Let’s start the first quiz. The idea of the game is for one person to give a few cryptic clues and for the others to guess which game it is. These clues could be about the title, the author, the company or even a puzzle inside a game. The clues are given by giving cryptic messages or ...

What game to play?

I have played hundreds of classic adventure games on all kinds of platforms, but I'm actually quite unfamiliar with the modern ones. Lately I started playing Bolivia by Night which I liked, partly because I used to live there, but it also had some interesting puzzles. I would like to play some more ...

Re: You are the hero - Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

(guess who asked Santa to get the wife something nice last Christmas ;) )
You are not going to tell me it is the same person who hinted me to obtain a copy, are you? :) (are you a stockholder of this game by any chance? )

Btw, if you're into tactical fantasy combat, give Summoner Wars a ...

Re: You are the hero - Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

Off to the mall to buy some other coasters then to use on my table :). The game looks very interesting indeed and while I wait I think I'll play some of the original gamebooks. Although I've them all a lot of them I never played before due to a lack of time. Furthermore Christmas is coming and ...

Re: You are the hero - Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

I've prepared the print'n'play version and will test it during the weekend. If the test game turns out to be terrible, I guess I'll have a very expensive door stop in a year or so!

And did you test it? Was it good or am I to become the proud owner of over a 100 coasters to put below a cup of hot ...

Re: You are the hero - Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

The campaign only runs for another couple of days if you want to join in :)ox
I know. Yesterday I watched the video and read all the options to back up. I'm thinking about doing the 89 Euro pledge and if I like the game buy the other expansions afterwards, but I'm not sure because I think the ...
