Re: Mordred Manor (pc)

I contacted the author and he explained to me I had to use a quotation mark to communicate with one of the characters like for instance:

" doctor drink potion

Something I never would have guessed. But with this bit of help I managed to solve the game :D.

Re: Mordred Manor (pc)

Got rid of the doctor. I revived the monster, but I don't know how to make it follow me to the door of the backyard. Can't get any further. Any help would be welcome.

-How to get rid of the chef in the kitchen?
-What to do in the baby’s room?
-What to do with the plant on the upper floor? Should I feed it some animal (the cat or the beasties)
-What to do in the room with the heart?
-I found a combination of a safe, but I can’t find the safe.

Mordred Manor (pc)

I started playing Mordred Manor. You are trapped inside an alleyway and the haunted manor is blocking your way. You have to enter it and make your way to the backyard on the other side.
I managed to solve some puzzles, but I seem to be quite stuck at the moment. Anyone wants to join trying to solve ...

Re: Best beginner's game in English for non-native speakers

Another game which should not be very difficult to start with if you give her a lists of verbs could be Aztec Tomb. It's not very big and not very hard to solve.

Re: Best beginner's game in English for non-native speakers

What about a multiple choice game like Danger Mouse in Black forest Chateau . It's not needed to understand every word and it is easier to solve because one can choose a command rather than having to write it oneself. Even without understanding every word you get a general idea of what you are doing ...

Re: AGS games

Found another one: Text Parser Game. It's very small and it's more like a joke. I made it to some Tibetan monk, but the game appears to be without an ending.

This link might be interesting:

It mentions several AGS games with a text parser.

Using the fixed version I was able to solve the game. I've uploaded the walkthrough and the fixed version.

Re: Lost Temple of the Incas - Simon/Andy Wood version

I just learned I had to load this TAP file in PAW. Finally I managed to save it to an empty virtual tape. I'll test my walkthrough on this fixed version and will upload them both afterwards.

Re: Lost Temple of the Incas - Simon/Andy Wood version

I managed to extract the snapshot (SNA file to a PAW file) with InPAW, I edited the PAW file with a text editor, I compiled the edited PAW file to a TAP file with InPAW, but unfortunately the TAP file won't load in my emulator or I'm doing something wrong.

Re: Lost Temple of the Incas - Simon/Andy Wood version

I've been playing this game and solved it. However in the original version, as Terri mentioned above, there is a bug which prevents you from ending the game (when you go east in location 67 you enter location 58 but this should be location 68). I tried to make a fixed version using InPAW. I've ...

Single Extreme Freedom C64

I've been playing the text adventure in Single Extreme Freedom . I got 41% but I now seem to be completely stuck.
Anyone wants to give it a try?

I would like to know:
-How to enter the castle of the lord?
-What to do in the room with the sleeping servant?
-When I light the laundry I get 6%, but I ...

Re: New game from Ron Gilbert

I never played Maniac Mansion because for the c64 it was disk only and in 1987 I was still fiddling with tapes  (and some MSX cartridges but they were very expensive). I did play Monkey Island which was one of the first graphical adventures I played on my PC XT (I skipped the Sierra games) I ...
