Re: Broken Sword on Kickstarter

Since a few months the complete version of Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse is available (initially the game was released as two separate parts). Has anyone been playing this? Is it good?

Error editing company name in internet explorer 11

If I want to edit a company name in the admin section when I use Internet Explorer 11, I can't. The site crashes. In Google Chrome I've no problem. Are there others having this same problem?

Re: Mystery voyage C64

I also was able to explain why sometimes you can't open the door when you turn the handle. This is only possible when the sound is on. If you used FX OFF or VOL OFF to turn off the sound effects you can't open the door.

Re: Mystery voyage C64

Today using unquill I finally solved the last two puzzles. I will rewrite the walkthrough.

To get the sword from the rock you have to wear the crown and type SAY SWORD.

To get the boat from the boathouse you have to type DRAG BOAT. Well I did try push and pull but I didn't think of drag.

Re: King Edward Adventure game authoring system

Thanks Alastair for your reply. I searched some more magazines and on page 9 of Your Commodore from 1986 I read Colleen was a new software house based in Wales and Mystery Voyage was their first adventure program. Probably you are right and it is another person with the same name (the other Kevin is ...

King Edward Adventure game authoring system

I'm still trying to solve the game Mystery Voyage for the c64 programmed by Kevin Bentley (click here to see the original post) .

I've contacted a Kevin Bentley who has programmed Amnesia , but according to him he didn't program Mystery Voyage. Is there another Kevin Bentley or was the game written ...

Re: Kuma and Kuma Computers

I searched a little further and learned Kuma Computers in Berkshire, England produced games between 1984 and 1985 for the Amstrad CPC and MSX. The Einstein games are from 1983. I don't know much about the Einstein. Is this the same company? The font of the company logo appears the same if you look ...

Error number of games solved and currently playing.

It's not very important I guess but just something I noticed. When you go to a user profile the number of games solved and the number of games currently playing are not always correct. If I look to myself for instance (but I noticed it with others as well) I should have solved according to my ...

Re: Any Turkish speakers amongst us?

since it may take a little until the WT is up (got to be patient for Gunness' next update),
You don't have to wait for an update to see the map and the walkthrough. I've already uploaded them.

Re: Any Turkish speakers amongst us?

This is what I've done until I reach the location with the gun:

GIR (you enter the castle), AL FARE (take mouse), AL PANZEHIR (take antidote), D (without the antidote you are killed by the spider), AL YESIL ANAHTAR (you take the green key), B, G, AC KAPIYI (you open the door with the green key. if ...

Re: Any Turkish speakers amongst us?

To begin with I don't speak Turkish at all, but nevertheless I decided to play the game. I've made a list with all the verbs and nouns and I translated them.

I've made a map of the castle with all the objects. I just have to finish the room descriptions which is a bit difficult because I don't ...
