If you like to see the names of available objects in a room. Type examine all.
It's like Catacombs in that pressing F5 brings up the "examine all" command - unless you change it by pressing F6. (F1, F3, and F7 also have built in commands that can be changed with F2, F4, and F8 respectively.)

Re: Cornucopia

Thanks :thumb: I'll look if I find something usefull. Ignore the old one, I have a better version now because I decided to download and use a proper hex editor. This has several advantages over my old method, not least I can automate a large part of the process and I no longer need to play the game...

Re: Cornucopia

Alastair would be nice if you can make a text file for this one as well, maybe it will reveal something. I haven't done much, just looked at the first few locations and available objects, so this preliminary decoding has masses of text still encoded, but it may still give some hints. Edit. Old vers...

Re: Catacombs

Alex, taken from your post in the Cornucopia thread.
These verbs are only in Catacombs:
defile
stamp
swim
wake
This would suggest that these verbs are important in Catacombs. Stamp and swim we know about but what of the other two?

Re: Catacombs/Cornucopia

Yes I also switched to DOSBOX-X. but I'm still having problems loading games from a mounted image. In regular DOSBox I have to mount the floppy image with the following command: imgmount 0 [path to image]\save.ima -fs none (that's a zero, and obviously [path to image] is whatever it is on your syst...

Re: Catacombs/Cornucopia

Welcome Canalboy.
As you can see, we are all stuck!

I'm uploading my latest decryption of the text, but it doesn't add much over my previous upload in that it offers no further clues on how to progress with the web or plug.

Re: XRoar for Dragon, CoCo (inc. 3), and MC-10 Emulation

Here are some further links to ROMs, all courtesy of the TRS-80 Color Computer Archive . First, the MC-10 ROM is at https://colorcomputerarchive.com/repo/MC-10/bios/ download "MC10.BIN" and rename it "mc10.rom" (the case is immaterial) - now you can run all of Jim Gerrie's conversions in XRoar! XRoar for Dragon, CoCo (inc. 3), and MC-10 Emulation

In recent months Ciaran has enhanced XRoar so that it now emulates the Tandy CoCo3 and MC-10 computers alongside the original Dragon and CoCo (1 and 2) emulations. Version 1.0.1 for various host platforms can be downloaded from http://www.6809.org.uk/xroar/ and more recent 'snapshots' from http://ww...

Maybe you should repeat the command pull plug several times?
That was one of the first things I tried, it doesn't work.

Could you decipher something there as well?
It's still a work in progress but here is where I am currently with the deciphered text.

You also found that in the code or did you manage to use it?
I used it, but you need to have the purple sphere first - so thanks for the save game.

I have not been able to do anything with the plug.

Re: Catacombs/Cornucopia

I now have a few more words: It worked a treat the ªstuck to the @ªand has been completely removed. Could it mean, "It worked a treat the web stuck to the X and has been completely removed." in response to the command, "clear web with X"? If so then we will have to find X. Would the trident work?
