Tonight I played La Caverne des Morlocks. The dumb thing is that the cavern exists of 60 rooms and at the beginning of the game at random one of them is choosen to be the room that ends the game.
I had adapted it with Inform 6 (without the library) a few years ago and I had added the possibility of not having a random room's end. After "Voulez-vous jouer au jeu original ? (L'issue du labyrinthe est aléatoire.)", answer: non.

Well that does make the game more interesting to play. However the original is still rather dumb because of this.
