The ACHETON text adventure game was originally created in the 1970's on a Cambridge University Mainframe computer.
It was later converted to the Acorn 32-bit, Amstrad CPC, Amstrad PCW, BBC Micro, MS Dos and ZX Spectrum.
Has anyone got a Basic listing of the program or a copy of the programs for the Amstrad CPC, Amstrad PCW or ZX Spectrum versions.
I already have the Dos and BBC versions.
Regards
Colin

There is also a Z-code version written by Adam Atkinson and Graham Nelson in 1999. This is the most authentic translation, as it was converted from the original source code using a Perl script. The Perl script was updated by David Kinder in 2011. The original parser and all text responses were maintained. The only additions were the INFORM, RESTORE and SCRIPT commands. The former gives a detailed history of the game and the people involved - well worth reading.
