Nuclear Submarine Adventure

#1 Post by Colin Appleby » Mon Nov 14, 2016 7:02 pm

To Jim Gerrie

Do you have a TRS-80 MC 10 listing of "Nuclear Submarine Adventure".

Think it was originally produced by Aardvark-80 and was by the same people who produced "Trek Adventure".

Need the original listing to convert to the NewBrain computer. Can you help.

Regards

Colin

Colin,

Sorry I have never converted that one yet, but I can probably get source from a TRS-80 (the older) site and convert it to text format. I'll let you know when I get my hands on a copy and send it your way.

Thanks Jim. Look forward to getting a Listing for the TRS-80 MC-10.

Understand that this was a Bonus program on the Disk version of the Softside Magazine Vol 5, No 4 for January 82 for the TRS80. It was also released for the Apple II.

I do have the C64 version of the program as a tape but is difficult to convert. The TRS-80 version is easier to convert.

Regards

Colin

Found a version of it for the TRS-80 Model 100, which also uses a pretty standard version of MS Basic. This is the site: http://www.ifarchive.org/indexes/if-arc ... trs80.html

I have attached a zip file with the source as .txt file.

I will be working on a TRS-80 MC-10 version, which will involve removing lines longer than 128 characters and a few more advanced Basic commands that the MC-10 doesn't have. Also will convert all text to uppercase and install my standard word wrap routine. But you might the original sources which has lowercase. The Screen of the Model 100 is 40X8

Dear Colin,

I found a different version (smaller) by Aardvark software. This text listing is for the TRS-80 Color Computer. Here's the entry in the database http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C19 ... nture.html
Versus this one (the prior one I sent)
http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C48 ... nture.html
Sorry for the possible confusion. Perhaps it was this one you were looking for.
