If you can make it to Chillicothe, Ohio, USA for the 7th and 8th October 2017 then you may be interested in visiting the inaugural Tandy Assembly because Scott Adams is listed as one of the speakers. The current schedule has him listed as speaking on the 8th.

For those who wish to see the talk given by Scott Adams at Tandy Assembly it is available on YouTube.

It is effectively the story of his life including how he first came in to contact with computers, the rise of Adventure International, how he came to terms with the collapse of AI, discovering through the internet how many people appreciated his games, his return to creating text adventures, and his plans for future releases.

His presentation starts about three minutes into the video.

The gentleman who appears during Scott's Q&A session is Lance Micklus - the author of Dog Star Adventure - his Tandy Assembly talk is also available, however it is not about adventure games. In fact it is only in the Q&A session (about forty-three and a half minutes in) that he briefly mentions Dog Star Adventure.

Thanks for linking to the video, Alastair. I can't wait to find out what are his plans for the future.
