"A Dark Sky over Paradise" - Help wanted!

Hello!

I've tried this game again and again, but I don't even know where I should start. Those guards catch me, if I run around too long, and the game is over. So I hope there's somebody, who can help me out with a solution to this little game.

Thanks!

Would this be the C64, Spectrum, or Atari ST version?

It is the Spectrum-Version of the game, but if you can give me solutions to the other ones, I would also be grateful.

Just a quick update.

To start go N, N, N, W (you should be outside Accomodation 5), PUT CARD IN SLOT.

Yes, I was there before, but I didn't know, what to do in there. There is a vid-screen and a pad, but I can't do anything with it. And there is also no way to enter the bedroom.

Please help me out!

I haven't got much further in this game, but PRESS GREEN PAD, wait (type Z) until the curfew then W. Next morning PRESS GREEN PAD, PUT CARD IN SLOT, go to the park and wait until Thompson appears. You can ASK THOMPSON ABOUT THE BOMB and ASK THOMPSON ABOUT THE MINING GROUP, whether or not you can ask him anything else I do not know, neither have I yet found a way to travel to the Industrial Dome.

You can find out the time by examining the card, I should also point out that the C64 version (I have not tried the Atari ST version) has a permanent display of the time and dome name across the top of the screen.

You must go north to the clerical dome. There you can use your card, to enter the shuttle bus. Enter "industrial dome" as destination and there you are.

I can't go nowhere in the Industrial-Dome, because of the security troops. How shall I reach Bar 2?

I've found a way to Bar 2. It's far south in the industrial dome. I went south, until the troops blocked my path and then west. Avenson arrived at 11, and I asked him about the MINING GROUP. He asked me to uncover the real terrorists, but I don't know where to start. Is there still anybody playing, who can help me out.

After a long time, I started another run to finish this game. I finally got into part 2 and managed to save some puzzles there. But now, I got stuck with a disk from the shuttle and many possible computer consoles to work with it (laboratory 1 - 9). These consoles are for three different purposes and each one is asking the player for a password. There is no password anywhere to be found and, if it is a puzzle, there is no hint given to the player. I recovered the password CIRCLE in a walkthrough, but still I have no clue, how to find it in game. I have to be blind. Can anybody help me with this.

I haven't touched this game since 2006, in fact I have no recollection of playing it! It's only the posts above that tell me that I have played some of the game. So I can offer no help past that which I have already given. Sorry :(

Jim, angromable may well be aware of the solution. What I think he is asking is how do you discover that the password is circle. A quick perusal of Dorothy's solution shows no action where you discover the password, it could be that the password is contained within the documentation that came with the game.

I can't see anything obvious in the game code either.

The game did come with some additional documentation (adverts reference a "Welcome to your new home" leaflet & a manual) so, yes, it is possible that a clue to "circle" as the password was included there.

Okay, I had feared something like that as well. Thanks for your help.
