I sent it to you email (that I got from you website), if you don't get it, let me know, I might have had sending problems.

Everyone caught up?

Here's where I'm stuck. I can't lift the box, because "I'm not magically strong enough". The only thing I have so far that I haven't used is the potion, which I can't seem to use here. It's such a backwards place that I don't know if it's looking for an opposite command or what?

If you're not this far, tell me where you're stuck and I'll help you along....

Guido, are you saying you found a place to use it or just suggesting that I try? I've gone back and went to every location I could think of that wasn't plains, road, forest or desert kinda thing, and tried USE POTION and DRINK POTION, and nothing.

I can't seem to use the potion where I'm stuck, so the only thing I could think of is using it somewhere else which would give me an item to help me where I'm stuck now....maybe I'm wrong and I just need the right commands at the box.

You have missed something. The potion ís of not much use. You probably were too happy, when solving the 3rd riddle so you went directly to the king-room without reading the locatio-description!! (like I have done too)

Ah, makes all the difference....but I still didn't use the potion.

Well another fine adventure under the belt.

Back to the suggestion list.

sword

#37 Post by terri »

I'm glad everyone solved the third riddle. It just came to me, just a guess.

Where can I find the sword? What location description should I read?

Amby and I are playing ziggarat? Anyone want to join us?

Happy Holidays.

At the place where you go to the riddles, take a look around as Guido mentioned, you'll need to do something there. Where to go from there you can guess by what the guy at the throne (South of where you are) says....make sure you have the key first.

If you mean, drink the water, I did that. OK I'll try again. Thanks.

box?

#40 Post by terri »

I drank the water and became stronger. But what box are you talking about? Did I see a box somewhere? Yhe sword is supposed to be in the plain.

I get the dirt and I see an image, but then I am stuck.

terri, you'll have to do 4 things to get through the floating place....then a couple more, then you're on to the next game.

all done and thanks

Thank you both muchly.

I've written a solution (with full credit to you both as well - I'm just the scribe) and will post it to Jacob eventually. Can one of you post him the map?

How about Tales of Mathematika next? It has riddles and puzzles (some mathematical of course which should minimize the language problem)which you both enjoy  . And of course Ziggarat.

I like mathematical problems (if they are not perverse like Rubik´s Cube).I think it´s a Spectrum game so I´ll look and try it.

Lagging Way Behind

#45 Post by Amby »

I realize ya'll are finished already, but I'm trying to play now. So far I have: boots, eagle feather, flask w water, gloves, rusty knife - I had bread (which I gave to the old woman who keeps waiting for me to say something, dunno what) and silver (which I gave to the bandit leader). I really think I could benefit from an ID so I can explore the town, but I haven't been able to find it. Hint please.
